About me
Keshab Raj Thoker, a photojournalist based in Kathmandu, Nepal, has worked for several media outlets and international organization. After working more than 15 years in the field of journalism he has recently published a book called “LIFE IN PANDEMIC: Kathmandu during Covid-19”.
Joining Nepal Republic Media, Nepal’s leading media organization, in 2009 he worked till 2021.
Also, he has worked as acting chief of Photojournalist Club Nepal, a common platform of Nepal’s leading photo journalists.
In 2023, he was awarded with Press Council Photojournalism Award. He won a silver award in the Women’s Rights category at the Asian Press Contest held in Singapore. In 2019, Keshab was awarded with the Spirit of the Workshop award at the Missouri Photo Workshop organized in Boonville, Missouri, USA.
Other achievements include winning the grand prize in the Nature and Wildlife Photo Competition organized by Wildlife Conservation Nepal in 2013, and securing 2nd prize in the News and Photo Story category in a photo contest organized by the Photo Journalist Club Nepal in 2012.
