Keshab  Raj Thoker a photojournalist from Nepal, has been working in the field of photojournalism for the past ten years. He is currently associated with national broadsheet dailies; Republica and Nagarik Dainik, which are English and Nepali edition of Nepal Republic Media respectively. His area of specialization in the field includes political and current affairs.

A self-taught photojournalist, Keshab is highly passionate, determined and diligent who persistently strives to get outstanding pictures, which are significant, both in terms of newsworthiness and quality. He can be best described for his promptness, creativity and having strong sense for news. In addition, he is adept in exploring country’s incredible cultural and natural diversity through his lens.

Over the years, some of his works have proved to be an excellent at various national level photo contests. He was awarded the grand prize in Nature and Wildlife photo competition organized by Wildlife Conservation Nepal in 2013 and also awarded 2nd prize in news and Photo story categories in photo contest organized by Photo Journalist Club Nepal in 2012.  Moreover, many of his photos have made it to various exhibitions across the country.

Based on his expertise and experience in the field, he strongly believes that a picture should not only be able to reflect people’s voice but also be able to make a significant impact in the society. He also serves as a vice-president for Photojournalist Club Nepal..
